Grapefruit

What's it got in there?
1 grapefruit has 1/2 a day's recommended daily dose of fiber at 12 grams.
Half of the fiber is insoluble which can help reduce constipation, and the other half of the fiber is soluble which helps lower cholesterol levels.

How to eat it?
Eat it so that you consume the paper thin flesh between slices so you don't miss out on the fiber.

Grapefruit juice has no fiber.

What can grapefruit do for you?
The American Heart Association has said that grapefruits and grapefruit juice are part of a heart-healthy diet.
They help lower the risk of heart disease.

As a remedy:
For a head cold, flu and clearing sinuses, cut up an entire grapefruit, rind and all, boil with 2 classes of water and drink.
